Free Student Admission to Denver Comic Con!

by | Feb 15, 2018

One of our favorite events, Experience the Comix, is back again for Denver Comic Con 2018.

Every year, Denver Comic Con partners with Illegal Pete’s, a Colorado-based restaurant chain, to help give students access to Denver Comic Con that may not otherwise be able to afford tickets.

Education is extremely important to Denver Comic Con, and we want to make sure that qualifying middle and high school students get the chance to come and learn more about pop culture and the many associated career paths.

At Denver Comic Con, these students can experience pop culture as a new and engaging educational tool, while also having a great time at such a large cultural event. The experience of every student attending Denver Comic Con is incredibly important to us.

Colorado educators and administrators are encouraged to apply soon, as the session fills on a first-come, first-serve basis. We also ask, if your students have already come to Experience the Comix in previous years, that you please refrain from applying again so as to allow other students to come and enjoy the experience.

Complimentary badges will be given to students and chaperones for the first day of Denver Comic Con, Friday, June 15th.

We hope that you will consider applying in order to bring pop culture into the lives of your students and show them new ways to experience learning. Our goal is to inspire cultural and educational opportunities for students as much as possible, and Experience the Comix is one way that we try to do that every single year.

We look forward to seeing you at this year’s Denver Comic Con!
