Extensive, one-of-a-kind educational panels, programming and activities developed and hosted by Pop Culture Classroom each year at Denver Pop Culture Con.

Our goal for Educator’s Day is to provide teachers, librarians, administrators, and other educators the chance to learn how they can improve their craft using the tools of pop culture. Qualified educators can receive FREE admission each year on the first Friday of the convention!

Presented in partnership between Colorado-based restaurant chain Illegal Pete’s, qualifying middle and high school students are given complimentary convention entry with the goal of exposing them to a wide variety of careers in pop culture.

We’re thrilled to announce the return of ED 589 for 2019. Offered through Adams State University as a 0.5 graduate credit, ED 589: Enhancing Education Through Pop Culture is a 3-day professional development course offered exclusively at the con!

Denver Pop Comic Con dedicates thousands of square feet on the show floor to our youth and teen fans, with a focus on STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Science, Math) programs. Fans of any age can learn through creating, listen to their favorite comic artist/writer speak, and feel welcomed into the geek community in this unique space.

For DPCC 2019, we want to give YOU the chance to share your insights and experiences incorporating pop culture into the classroom – including comics, games, cosplay, film, art, and much more.
